Over time, as more people have found out about Satins and Silks, we have been frequently asked if we would give a talk to different local group's, for example Ladies Group's.

We have always been really delighted to do this, and have found it to be a real pleasure.

It's fun, and we inject a sense of humour in the talk.

The talk has an educational theme, for example the history and making of Silk as a natural fabric, including Cottage Industry and Fair Trade Silk work, and how silk as a product and a craft, has fused with the fashion industry both past and present.

The talk also covers the latest fashions and colours, and how the products can best be used to compliment a woman's sense of style.

A collection of products are brought along to the talk for viewing, so people can see and feel the different textile textures, and there is the option for people to purchase products, if they so wish.

All talks are tailored to group need.
